Members of the Academic Council:
Who have term appointments of three years or more with the possibility of reappointment, or who have received tenure, or who have an appointment with a continuing term(1);
Who have an academic council appointment that is 100% and who is working full time (100% FTE);
Who are first time homebuyers (2); and
Who, and their spouse or registered domestic partner, have not owned a single-family home within the Qualifying Area in the three years prior to receipt of a written offer of employment from Stanford.
Note: An Eligible Person may use the University’s housing purchasing programs for only one property at a time. As an accommodation to condominium owners who are interested in participating in the University Terrace lottery, the following will apply:
The condominium must be listed for sale within 90 days of the projected closing date of the new home;
The condominium must be under contract/in escrow within 60 days of the projected closing date of the new home; and
The condominium must close escrow before or concurrently with the new home purchase.
