There is a random-number drawing (lottery) for for the following Single Family Homes:

1655 Amherst Way, Lot 37
1615 Amherst Way, Lot 41
1605 Amherst Way, Lot 42
2500 Bowdoin Street, Lot 46
2540 Bowdoin Street, Lot 47
1630 Amherst Way, Lot 50
In order to participate in the lottery, all faculty eligible to purchase a University Terrace home must complete and submit a registration form (interest list application) and participate in an Open House. Faculty couples with dual eligibility may apply individually. Lottery participants who have reserved a single-family home are not eligible to participate in the lottery. Lottery participants who have reserved a condominium home are eligible to participate in the lottery if they are interested in a larger home. To find out more information, call or visit the Information Center or go to the Interactive Map in the Community section of this website. All participants will be notified after the interest list application has been submitted and will receive a unique identifier. Interest List submissions are neither a guarantee of eligibility nor qualification to purchase. No priority will be given based on the timing of the submission. All entries will be verified by FSH and eligible participants will be notified when their application has been accepted. Applicants may withdraw from consideration prior to the lottery.

Condominium Home Selection

Schedule the Condominium Home Selection Appointment.

Condominium Homes

  • Faculty may reserve a home in person, via phone, via email, or through a delegated proxy.
  • Home reservation will be approximately 1 hour in duration to review available homes and complete the reservation form. A reservation deposit of $1,000 will be required at the time of home selection. This is fully refundable.
  • Contract signing appointments will be scheduled within seven (7) days of the home reservation appointment providing the necessary time to review the associated disclosure documents.

Schedule an appointment with FSH to initiate your loan approval process to prepare for the close of escrow on your new home.

The final home walkthrough will be coordinated approximately 5-10 days before you close escrow.

FSH will be coordinating appointments for lease and loan documents to be signed approximately one (1) week before you close escrow.

The title company will provide an estimated closing statement that includes the amount you will need to pay one (1) day before the projected close of escrow. The funds must be sent via a wire transfer or cashier's check to the title company.
